THE
SIR JOHN BARROW MONUMENT AND HOAD HILL
PUBLIC
CONSULATION QUESTIONNAIRE
|
|
| The
Ulverston Partnership has commissioned Elaine Rigby
Architects and others to work with all interested parties to
prepare a Conservation Management Plan for the monument.
Funding for this work has been received from the Heritage
Lottery Fund. Details,
timescales and dates for future consultations will be made
available at this web site
and in the local press. |
|
| The
Conservation Management Plan will provide detailed
information and costings to enable a second bid to be made
to the Heritage Lottery Fund to repair the monument.
This
questionnaire, completion of which ended on 31st March 2006,
provided a valuable input to the
Conservation Management Plan specifically to identify and
set out the following:
|
|
|
- What
is important about Hoad Hill and the Sir John Barrow
Monument and what it means to you and your family.
- What
issues are facing Hoad Hill and the Sir John Barrow
Monument.
- How
the issues can be addressed.
