The
Friends are greatly indebted to Mr. G Hyde (known to his friends as
Jekyll) for bravely subjecting himself to the JEKELL’S SPONSORED HEAD
SHAVE event which took place on 7th April 2007 at the Cattle Market
Public House, Neville Street, Ulverston, at 8.00pm.
The
event was a great success, was well attended and a good time was had by
all. To date Mr Hyde (Jekyll) has raised a total of £443 from those
sponsoring the event.
The
photos below cover the before, during & after the shave & have
been kindly donated by Pat Edwards.
The
Friends of the Monument are extremely grateful to Jekyll for organising
such a successful and enjoyable event. His contribution to the Monument
fund ranks as a very creditable 9th largest single donation to the fund
- a tremendous achievement.
